First off, we feel that trageted advertising can be a distraction and have a negative impact on user experiences. But in addition to this simple annoyance, it can be much more of a problem. One of the major issues with running ads is that it generally involves a network or website actively collecting your personal data to provided targeted ads to you. This is not only a little creepy but also an invasion of your privacy and we will not tolerate it.

Users are free to advertise within their profiles, posts and groups but no ads will be run by the site itself.

Your Content Is Your Own Not Anybody Else’s

As a writer and artist, the founder of this website is well aware of the importance of intellectual property. With that in mind, Ripple will never use any user’s posts, either written, audio or in visual format in promotional content without the direct written consent of the owner of the account.

We will not sell or redistribute your content.

The only content that will be potentially used for promotion is that publicly available to non-members of our website including information regarding the list of available groups.

Our Focus on Privacy

At no time will the administrators or operators or anyone associated with Ripple in a professional capacity actively collect user data. We will not collect information and sell it to outside companies who won’t hesitate to spam your inbox.

In fact, we don’t even require any sensitive data to register as a user. You need to create a username and can provide any name you choose to do so whether a legal name or a fictional name. You may also use any email address you choose. You can even create one just for us.

When using the site, some information may be available to other users.
